Playa de los Muertos sits at the northern edge of Cabo de Gata Natural Park, close to a cement factory. It belongs to the terrestrial Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, recently named a Biosphere Reserve.
Los Muertos is a remote beach of sand and gravel in Carboneras (Almería). The sand is white.
